Kristina M. Gardner, 54, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13 in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Larry Hall for a fund to be established in Kristina’s memory.
Kristina “Tina” M. (Hall) Gardner was born September 16, 1970, to Betty R. Hall and Augusta Bates Jr. in Moline, Il. She married her sweetheart Hayword Gardner on December 11, 2006. Tina was raised in the church and was a member of Greater Antioch Church. Tina enjoyed playing spades with her family, watching movies and her favorite tv shows. She also enjoyed cooking and looking up great recipes. Tina graduated from Rock Island High School.
Tina enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh and was a delight to be around. Tina had a very special relationship with her baby boy Jaylin, he was the yin to her yang and he will miss her dearly. All of her children meant the world to her. She was loved deeply by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Markel Hall, Devonte Hall and Jaylin Gardner of Rock Island, Il. She had a special place in her heart for her bonus daughter (Aerio Burrage Hall). Her grandchildren Markyion Hall, Marshawn Hall, Arriah Hall, Amara Hall and Kamiya Hall, Javion, Jaeda and Areionna all of Rock Island, Il. Her brothers Bobby Hall, Larry (Freddie) Hall, Ervin Hall, Michael Hall, Dontae Hall, Bruce Morrow and Jerry Hearn all of Rock Island and a sister Sharon Hall of Fairburn, GA; Aunt Alice Faye (Amadu) Jalloh and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Hayword R. Gardner, son Deminick Hall, mother Betty Hall, father Augusta Bates, Jr. and brothers Johnnie Hall, Nathaniel Hall and Damion Hall, nephew Andrew Charles, aunt Gladys Castell and her grandparents.
Tina has reunited with her husband Hayword, son Deminick, mother Betty, father Augusta, her brothers and extended family. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
