Kevin D. Fitzwater

Kevin D. Fitzwater, 60, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Friday, January 19, 2018, at Aperion Care, East Moline.

Services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Kevin was born January 27, 1957, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of Dale and Barbara (Lanam) Fitzwater. He attended West High School in Davenport. After many years of working in restaurants and food service sales including Thoms Proestler in Rock Island, he owned and operated Fitz-Rite Home Improvement.

Kevin has been known to his family and friends as a creative, generous, and fun-loving man. He enjoyed meeting new people and a good conversation.

He is survived by a son, Jacob Fitzwater, of Milan; a granddaughter, Emersyn; a sister, Diana Fitzwater of Warrenville, Illinois; brothers, Randall Fitzwater and Dennis Fitzwater, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Russell Fitzwater of Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Dr. Sherry Fitzwater and Diana Armbrust.
