Kenneth J. Weber, 72, of Hampton, Illinois, died Thursday, November 12, 2015, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Reverend Jerry Helms officiating. Burial is in Hampton Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship for the "Gospel According to Scrooge" program.
Kenneth John Weber was born September 14, 1943, in Princeton, Illinois, to William and Elsie (Kroeger) Weber. He married Joanne Larrison on June 6, 1964, in Moline. Ken retired from Navistar International in 2000, after 37 years as a tool cutter grinder. He was an active member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, loved his family, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Ken is survived by his wife, Joanne; two daughters and their fiancés, Wanetta Whitehall and Brandon Hanks of Madison, Alabama, and Lisa Powell and Tim VanDeVoorde of Milan, Illinois; six grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Travis, and Tiffany Whitehall and Jacob and John Powell; and siblings, William Weber of Oglesby, Illinois, and Jean Wertz of Spring Valley, Illinois. He was preceded in death by siblings, James Weber and Marlene Kinsley.
