Keith L. Lanman

Moline, Illinois Services for Keith L. Lanman, 61, of Moline, formerly of Morris, Illinois, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal, where Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family or Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline. Mr. Lanman died Monday, February 25, 2002, at home. He was born November 27, 1940, in Davis County, Iowa, the son of Russell and Gladys (Swaim) Lanman. He married Janice R. Hansen Chronister on May 30, 1969, in Morris, Illinois. He served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He was employed in maintenance at United Township High School, East Moline, for 15 years, last working in 1997 due to disability. He previously worked at McLaughlin Body Company and International Harvester. He enjoyed bowling, stock car racing, drag racing and working on cars. He especially liked drag racing with a special nephew, David Lanman. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Keith is survived by his wife, Janice. Four daughters and a son, Kimberly Lanman of Henderson, Nevada, Karmen McAdam of Rock Island, Kitty Lanman of Moline, Kassie Chronister of Morris, Illinois, and Karl Chronister and his wife Lisa of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Ashley McAdam, John Hartley, Justin Chronister, and Chelsea Chronister; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Larry Murdock of East Moline, Mary Webster of Moline, Sharon and Joe Collier of Fairfield, Iowa, and Jan and Lee Latta of Ottumwa, Iowa; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Craig and Shirley Lanman of Eldon, Iowa, Earl and Grace Lanman of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, Carroll and Esther Lanman of Columbus, Ohio, and Raymond and Delorris Lanman of Floris, Iowa.
