Dorothy Kay Rogers, 72, of Silvis, Illinois, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, in Genesis Medical Center, lllini Campus, Silvis.
Visitation is 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Scales Mound, Illinois, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial is in Scales Mound Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dorothy was born May 8, 1936, in Scales Mound, the daughter of John Thomas and Myrtle Mae (Wickler) Rogers.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorene M. and Edward J. Casper of Moline; a brother, David L. Rogers of Scales Mound; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert and a sister Colleen.
