Katrina M. Farless

Katrina May Farless, 57, of Montpelier, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at home after a brief battle with cancer.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Katrina was born November 20, 1966, in Davenport, Iowa, to Jerry Sindt and Carolyn Clark. She married Larry Eugene Farless on September 7, 2013, in Montpelier, Iowa. Katrina worked as a seamstress at Burke Cleaners and also as a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and baking.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Farless; her father and stepmother, Jerry and Reatta Sindt; her children, Jerren (Anna) Long, Justin Long, Emilee (Tony) Long, Levi (Shelly) Long and Chase (Kara) Whicker; her step-daughter, Breanna Farless; her grandchildren, Emeree, Brianna and Huxley; her step-grandchildren, Brayzon, Emersyn and Decklyn; her siblings, Jodie, Tommy, Anjie and Junior; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Abbott; her brother, John Sindt; and her sister, Debbie Sindt.
