Kathleen D. Johnson, 63, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, in her residence.
There will be no public services. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.
Kathleen Dee Schurman was born April 26, 1950, in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Manly and Patsy (Skeppstedt) Schurman.
She enjoyed reading.
Kathy is survived by her life partner of over 18 years, Craig McFarlin of Rock Island, a son, Brent Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas, a daughter, Kanima Norton of Salt Lake City, Utah, four grandchildren, and a sister, Leeann Reichert. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
