Kate Edgar, 45, of Rock Island, died Monday, May 24, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.Private services will be held at a later date. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Genesius Theater Foundation.Kathleen Deeann Edgar was born September 3, 1958, in Redwood City, California, the daughter of John and Gloria (McMillan) Edgar. She was a member of Genesius Guild and several other local community theater groups, and Crohns and Colitis Support Group. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed knitting.Kate is survived by her partner of 25 years, Colleen Fox of Rock Island, an uncle and aunt, Don and Lynn McMillan of Placerville, California, and several cousins, including Susan McMillan of Scion, Oregon.
