Kathleen Ann Watters

Kathleen A. Watters, age 60, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, May 23, 2004 at University Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. Burial of Cremains will be 11:30 AM, Thursday at National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, prior to the burial. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. The former Kathleen Ann Hoeg was born December 24, 1943 in Moline, the daughter of Jerome and Florence (Wolf) Hoeg. Kathleen married Ronald L. Watters on August 24, 1991 in Oquawka, IL. He recently preceded her in death on May 11th in Rock Island. Previous marriages include Herbert Whittington and Richard G. Jacobs. She had been employed at Miller Container in Rock Island, Export Packaging in Milan, IL and most recently at the Jack & Jill Grocery Store in Coal Valley, IL. Kathleen loved family gatherings, going camping, fishing, enjoyed gardening, and raising rabbits. Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Randy and Jennifer Whittington of Milan, Tina Cobert of East Moline, IL, and Richard and Carrie Jacobs of Poteau, OK, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Malone of Aledo, IL, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Deana Hoeg of Hampton, IL, and Christopher and Linda Hoeg of Davenport, IA. She was also survived by her dog, Tyker, and her cat, Kee-Kees.
