Katherine Gale Rosten

Graveside Services for Katherine G. Rosten, 84 of Concord, California formerly of Aledo, Illinois will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 10th, 2002 at the Aledo Cemetery. The Reverend John Crede of United Methodist Church, Aledo will officiate. Mrs. Rosten died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 in Concord, California. The former Katherine Gale Gilliland was born April 6, 1918 in Aledo, Illinois the Daughter of Glen and Ethel (Brown) Gilliland. She married Paul O. Rosten on May 9, 1942 in Aledo, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1991. Mrs. Rosten was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in Concord, California where she was active with the choir and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Rosten is survived by a daughter, Sue Rosten of Concord, California; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Sue Rosten of Dixon, California; two grandchildren, Nathan and Laura Rosten; a brother, Bernard Gilliland of Aledo, Illinois; and a sister, Margaret Eager of Galesburg, Illinois.
