Karen V. Griffin

Karen V. Griffin, 78, of Silvis, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis.

A memorial visitation will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday in City View Room on the lower level of Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Please enter the North door from the lower parking lot. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory. Private burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

The former Karen Verlea Hageman was born April 8, 1941, in Moline, the daughter of Carl and Genevieve (Sedam) Hageman. She married Russell Griffin on March 21, 1959, in Moline. He passed away on July 4, 1999.

Karen enjoyed playing solitaire, Bingo, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by five children, Carl (Leslie) Griffin of East Moline, Illinois, Penny (Rick) Frazer of Moline, Pamela Griffin of Silvis, Jeff (Cathy) Griffin of Eldridge, Missouri, and Patty (Ray) Brooks of East Moline; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon Pope of Moline. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Judy Hull; and brothers, Ronald and Larry Hageman.
