Karen M. Hansen

Karen M. Hansen, 59, of Rock Island, Illinois, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at her home after an extended illness.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Karens residence in Rock Island, Illinois.

Karen was born March 21, 1962 to Judy (Cullett) and Larry Scott in Iowa City, Iowa.

Karen enjoyed fishing, watching her soaps, spending time with her mom and especially enjoyed every chance she had to spend time with her grandbabies, who she loved very much.

Karen left behind four children, Josh Jones, Jennifer Jones, Mariah (Michael) Gipson, and Daniel Hansen Jr. Her grandchildren Thomas Ragusi, Kiera Stephenson, Ryan Hansen, Xavier Hatridge, Daniel Hansen III, Damion Hatridge, and Katalaya Hatridge. Karen had seven brothers and sister; Kevin Scott, David Scott, Laura Scott, Daren Scott, Leesa Scott, Michelle (Charles) Millhouse, and Heather Scott. She also had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews that she held dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her father, and nephews; Richard Russell Jr, Michael Farrell, Jeramie Millhouse, and ex-husband; Daniel Hansen.
