June Judd, 87, of Moline, Illinois, formerly of Crete, Illinois, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, in Trinity Pathway Hospice at Terrace Park, Bettendorf, Iowa.
Private family services are Saturday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Private burial is in Cedar Park Cemetery, Calumet Park, Illinois. Memorials may be made to St. Jude?s Children?s Hospitals.
The former Rosemary June Paxton was born February 18, 1921, in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of John Warren and Euliss (Shireman) Paxton. She graduated from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, and married Bruce L. Judd on August 14, 1943, in Ketchikan, Alaska. He died August 12, 2004.
June enjoyed camping, photography, playing Bridge, and wintering in Florida, was a Chicago Bears fan, and loved her pugs. In earlier years, she was active in the swim team at Lincolnshire Country Club.
June is survived by three children and their spouses, Michael C. and Janet Judd of LeClaire, Iowa, Warren P. and Marjorie Judd of Round Rock, Texas, and Bonnie L and Philip Ketterhagen of Burlington, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Adam and Melissa Judd, Nathan Judd, Karoline and Sean Wimble, Matthew Judd, Todd and Michele Ketterhagen, Bradley and Deanna Ketterhagen, and Leanne and Daniel Villa; and nine great-grandchildren, Aidan and Addison Judd, Peyton Wimble, Mackenzie, Lillian, and Ava Ketterhagen, Chase Ketterhagen, and Kyle and Shelby Roder. She was preceded in death by her husband, her twin brother, Gene Paxton, her sister, Nancy West, and a great-granddaughter, Delaney Ketterhagen.
