Dawn Marie (Jump) Kennedy, 49, of Appleton, Wisconsin, formerly of Moline, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, August 23, 2009.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 to 11:00 Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in Dawn's name, to St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, 1506 South Oneida Street, Appleton, Wisconsin 54915.
The former Dawn Marie Jump was born February 19, 1960, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn and Sylvia (Kidd) Jump. She married Shawn Kennedy on April 11, 1987, in Moline.
Dawn was employed at Weld Craft in Appleton, Wisconsin, in the Accounting Department. She enjoyed bowling and all sports, traveling, scrap booking, and working in her flower beds. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Dawn was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn Kennedy; her parents, Glenn and Sylvia Jump of Moline; her brother Greg Jump and his wife Lisa of Moline; her sister Tammy Bernard and her husband Randy of Apex, North Carolina; a niece, Riley Kristine Bernard; a nephew, Ryan Daniel Bernard; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
