Julie Amanda (Lundeen) Trelstad, 55, of Le Claire, Iowa, died Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Born on August 23, 1969, in Moline, Illinois, Julie was the cherished daughter of Jerry and Elaine (Beier) Lundeen. She graduated from Moline High School in 1987, where she was a standout tennis player. Julie continued her athletic passion at Central College in Pella, Iowa, earning a degree in 1991 while playing on the varsity tennis team.

On September 7, 2002, Julie married her beloved husband, Timothy Trelstad, in Moline. Together, they created a warm and loving home, where family was always the centerpiece of their lives. Julie was a dedicated accountant, beginning her career with Farmers Insurance before moving to John Deere, where she contributed her expertise in auditing and bookkeeping. She also provided her skills to Hammar & Associates, First Lutheran Church in Moline, and Trinity Lutheran Church of Pleasant Valley.

Julie had a deep appreciation for nature and spent countless hours tending to her garden. She was known for sharing her bountiful harvest of vegetables with neighbors and loved ones. Her passion for dogs, particularly her beloved Skye, was evident in her daily walks and playtime with neighborhood pets. Julie was committed to staying active and healthy, but she had a special fondness for sweets, eagerly anticipating her "num num" day each Friday.

Above all, Julie treasured her family. She was a fantastic cook, often preparing meals for her loved ones, even if they were dishes she wouldn’t eat herself. Her greatest joy came from being a mother to her son, Aaron. She delighted in reading to him as a child and never missed a game or event during his upbringing. Julie was immensely proud of Aaron as he embarked on his journey at Iowa State University.

Julie is survived by her husband, Timothy and son, Aaron James Trelstad; her parents, Jerry and Elaine Lundeen of Moline; her sister, Susan Lundeen of Moline; her brother, Richard Lundeen of Davenport, Iowa; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by two children, Samuel John Trelstad and Grace Allison Trelstad.

Julie Amanda Trelstad leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
