Julian Gorecki, 91, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the church. Entombment is in Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Julian Gorecki was born August 27, 1921, in Vilno, Poland. He married Virginia Peterson on October 9, 1954, in Moline., He was a mechanic at Campbell Oldsmobile in Rock Island. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing.

Julian is survived by his wife, Virginia; his daughter, Teresa Gorecki of Princeton, New Jersey; and three sisters in Poland.
