Juana "Juanita" Cruz, 84, of Moline, Illinois, died Monday, June 6, 2016, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with a rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

She was born August 21, 1931, in Belen Del Refugio, Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Nestor and Germana (Cruz) Beltran. She married Pablo Cruz in 1948, in Belen. He died June 26, 1993.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and fishing.

Juanita is survived by five children, Emilio Cruz, Rosalba Raya, Fernando Cruz, Rosa Ojeda, and Jose L. and his wife Jonna Cruz, all of Moline, 34 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, her husband, and four sons, Salvador, Arturo, Guadalupe, and Regino.
