Joyce M. Griffith. 90, formerly of East Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, April 3, 3014, in Western North Carolina Baptist Retirement Home, Asheville, North Carolina.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with The Reverend William Coley officiating. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services.

The former Joyce Maxine Orendorf was born January 25, 1924, in Dixon, Iowa, to Lee J. and Bernice Bethel Orendorf. She married David J. Griffith on October 11, 1942, in Moline. He died February 9, 2002. She was a member of First Christian Church, East Moline.

Joyce is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and Lloyd Page of Chandler, Arizona; Susan and John Grant of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Claudia Griffith of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Scott Page; Lieutenant Colonel John Page, Jason Conder and his wife Sarah, Elizabeth Swedyk and her husband Edward, and Rebecca Plank; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jackie Ryan of Hannibal, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
