Joyce A. Bedinger

Joyce Ann Bedinger, 75, of Colona, died Sept. 2, 2008, at home.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Family Funeral Services, Colona. Her final place of rest is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Family Funeral Services, 213 1st St., Colona. Memorials may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis, American Diabetes Association, and Trinity Hospice.

She was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Elkader, Iowa, daughter of Clyde J. and Frana A. Meir Sevey. She married H. Douglas Bedinger on Aug, 19, 1949, in Stockton, Ill.

She had been a hair stylist since 1955, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Colona United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, H. Douglas Bedinger, Colona; daughters, Anna Marie Cramblett, Bettendorf, Debroah Catherine (Ernest) Manrrique, Coal Valley; son, Douglas Clyde (Darlene) Bedinger, Channahon, Ill.; grandchildren, Michelle Cramblett, Mike Cramblett, Jason Manrrique, David Manrrique, Douglas Bedinger Jr., Tim Bedinger and Kirk Bedinger; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Hamill, Dubuque, Iowa, and Judy Kennedy, Hanover, Ill. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, who all died from pulmonary fibrosis.
