Joseph F. Chandler

Joseph F. Chandler, 46, of East Moline, Illinois departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Genesis Medical Center in Silvis. 

Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Immediately following the service, a Repass will be held at Broadway, 2115 4th Ave, Rock Island, Illinois 61201. Cremation will take place following services at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. 

Joseph Franklin Chandler was born January 6, 1978, the son of Milton and Doris (Campbell) Chandler. He graduated from Rocky High School in 1996 and went on to work at Bi-State Furniture in Davenport, Iowa.

A passionate lover of baseball, Joseph enjoyed both playing and coaching the sport. He cherished time spent with family and friends, and his laughter was truly contagious. An avid collector of fashion, he took pride in his collection, which ranged from Air Force 1s to various hats. His love for his children was boundless, and he adored his grandchildren, who were everything to him.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: children, Jovon Chandler, Jayvin Chandler, LaDaishia Lowery, and Tayveon Chandler; grandchildren, Zion, Zamanii, Jamari, Jaylin, and Jaydin; brother, Darren Chandler, niece, MaKayla Chandler; great-nephew, Kayden Chandler; very special friend, Nuchelle Robertson; and ex-wife, Starshannda Lowery-Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Doris Chandler. 

Joseph will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
