Johnny R. Brooks

Johnny R. Brooks, 65, of Rock Island, Illinois, died February 1, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident in Harvey, Illinois.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in his memory.

Johnny Ray Brooks was born April 12, 1954, in Davenport, the son of Johnny Warren and Joann Brooks.

He is survived by sisters, Yvonne M. Brooks, Cynthia M. Gay, Torrie L. (Jeff) Goodell, and Margaret Patterson; brothers, Curtis L. (Mildred) Brooks, Kevin V. Harris, and Corrie M. Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Toney E. Brooks.
