Johnny Lasley, 94, of Moline, Illinois, died Thursday, February 8, 2024, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Private family services will be held.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals.

Johnny Lowell Lasley was born July 15, 1929, in Ullin, Illinois, to William Henry and Louisa (Wickham) Lasley, the youngest of 12 children.  He married Joann Sacco on November 28, 1953, in Moline.  He was an accountant at Tri-City Blue Print Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1981.  He served in the US Navy Reserves for 20 years.  He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, for 70 years. He loved being with his family and enjoyed yard work, dominoes, and Whitey’s ice cream.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joann; three children and their spouses, John and Karen Lasley of Coal Valley, Duane and Catherine Lasley of Duluth, Minnesota, and Angela and Steven Bean of Mason, Ohio; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
