John Sesbeau

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, John J. Sesbeau, 60, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport, after a long illness.

John Jay Sesbeau was born February 8, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Joseph and Anna (Sheridan) Sesbeau. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1976. John loved music and history, especially ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian. He enjoyed coin collecting, telling stories and family.

John was preceded in death by his father, Joseph. He is survived by his mother, Anna Sesbeau of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Jo Ann (Michael) Curran of Littleton, Colorado, Marta (Stephen) Hershner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Karen Sesbeau of Plymouth, Minnesota, Mark (Tina Rising) of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Dawn (Tim) Hoeft of Burnsville, Minnesota; a nephew, Alex Liehe; and nieces Kathryn Fallace, Meredith Hershner, Hilary Hershner, and Morgan Stoa.
