Jimmy R. Ferguson, 63, of Milan, died Saturday, January 7, 2006, in Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Visitation is 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Family and friends will then proceed to the National Cemetery on Rock Island Arsenal for graveside services.
Jimmy was born December 25, 1942, in Etowah, Arkansas, the son of Raymond and Goldie Ferguson. He married Sandra Hogan Kahn on Nov. 14, 1997, in Moline. He had been employed as a mechanic at Adrian Carriers. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sandra; a step-son, David Kahn; a daughter, Kim and Darrell Sweat; two grandchildren; siblings, Louise Daggett, Donald and Freedia Ferguson, FL, R. A. and Rose Ferguson, Don and Mary O?Brien, Larry and Kathy Ferguson, Dwight and Linda Duncan, and Ted and Marcy Scholer; and his mother-in-law, Julie Hogan.
