Jill Cremeens, 80, of Rapids City, Illinois, died Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14, at Wildwood Church, East Moline, with Rev. Andrew Robinson officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Private burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jill Cremeens' Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The former Jill Templeman was born September 16, 1944, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Basil Edgar and Nadine (Bragg) Templeman. At the age of three, Jill moved with her family to Memphis, Missouri. She graduated from NE Missouri State University at which time she met the love of her life, Dewayne Cremeens. The couple was married October 4, 1969, in Kirksville, Missouri and went to have over 55 love-filled years together.
She worked as a substitute teacher at Hampton Elementary School for many years. She was also a bank teller for IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union. She enjoyed shopping, more specifically bargain hunting, snuggling, and watching movies with her grandchildren, her pride and joy.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Dewayne; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tonya Sebben of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Tera and Adam Berkey of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Trevor Sebben, Lexi Sebben, Violet Jillynn Berkey, and Magnolia “Nola” Berkey; special friends, Jose and Jacquee Diaz, Judy Duncalf and Jeff Sedam, Susan (Duncalf) Fontana, Cindy Mohr, and Cindy Knott; and her puppy, Gemma. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Margie Kaiser and Mary Ann Gerdes.
