Jeffery N. Wassenhove

Jeffery N. Wassenhove, 71, of Davenport, Iowa, died Sunday, September 8, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Visitation will be planned and shared with family and friends at a later date.

Jeff was born on July 5, 1953, in Moline, the son of Albert and Dorothy (McLaughlin) Wassenhove. He was very proud of the work he accomplished as a part owner of Green Valley Auto Body alongside Mark Conner for 35+ years. Jeff loved going on long drives and discovering new roads in his Atlas, riding his motorcycle, kayaking in the boats he built, being surrounded by his friends, was an avid movie watcher, and was talented with any project you placed in front of him. Jeff was an incredible pole vaulter that once held the Moline High School pole vaulting record during his time at Moline High School. He had a strong group of high school friends and loved socializing.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; daughters, Abbey and Brittney Wassenhove; grandchild, Bennett Wassenhove Guenette; brother, Lee (Vicki) Wassenhove; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Arlyn and infant twin brothers.
