Janie E. Reyna, 68, of East Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Rosewood Care Center, Moline, Illinois.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the Janie Reyna Memorial Fund, which will be established in her name.
The former Janie Ellen Davis was born February 8, 1945, in Kingsville, Texas, to Ralph Lee and Soila Lopez Davis. She married Juan G. Reyna on October 7, 1961, in Kingsville. She owned and operated Reyna?s Beauty Shop in Green Rock, Illinois, and worked at Desaulnier?s Printing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and yard sales.
Janie is survived by her husband, Juan; three children, Virginia Castro and her husband, Alfredo, Juan Reyna Jr. and his special friend Shirley Castaneda, and Bruno Lee Reyna and his wife Lisa, all of East Moline; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Hoff of Hampton, Illinois; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Nicole and R. J. Roach, Joey and LeMarie Reyna, Amanda Reyna, Bruno ?Bo? Reyna, Jr., Julio Riojas, Joseph Reyna, Carlos Xavier Castro and his wife Andrea, and Crystal Castro; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Opal Alaniz and her husband Martin, James Davis, and Lorraine Davis, all of Texas; Juan?s siblings and their spouses, Elisa Sinfuentes and Beto Lopez, Elsa and Domingo Villarreal, Elieso and Sue Reyna, Lela and Pedro Beltran, Pablo and Cathy Reyna, and Zoila and Juan Ramos; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ralph Davis Jr.
