Janet L. Colvin, 66, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in her residence.
There will be no public services. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
The former Janet Lynn Hunt was born May 31, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Lenn and Mamie (Tevis) Hunt. She married Jewel Colvin on May 31, 1977, in Rock Island, Illinois.
Janet worked as a hairdresser at LaRita?s, and as a bill collector and aid at Vera French Center. She enjoyed sewing and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jewel, of Moline, children, Monica and Derek Colvin of Moline, grandchildren, Alora Walston and Jackson Colvin, and her mother, Mamie Hunt of Goodfield, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Terry Hunt.
