East Moline, Illinois James N. Burns, age 90 of East Moline died Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at Parkview Healthcare Center, East Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Funeral Services will be private, and Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arranegments. Memorials may be given to a favorite charity. James Noel Burns was born on March 13, 1911 in Carthage, Illinois the son of James J. and Ella (Boston) Burns. James married Mary D. Dumon on June 27, 1936 in Moline. He had been employed as a plumber for over 55 years at various businesses in Quad-Cities through the Plumbers Union, Local 25. Mr. Burns was a past president of the Eagle Club in Moline. Throughout his life and in his retirement he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and wintering in Arizona with his wife. Survivors include his wife Mary; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Roger DeBacker, and son and daughter-in-law, James and Shirley Burns, all of Moline; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
