James L. "Jimmy" Inman, 56, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at home.
A memorial gathering will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Friends are invited to continue the celebration of Jimmy's life until 7:00 p.m. at Highland Park Bowl, 4204 Avenue of the Cities, Moline. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to Jack Inman for a fund to be established by the family.
Jimmy was born July 25, 1961, in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Dorothy (Bricker) Inman. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1977, where he excelled in wrestling. He currently resided with the love of his life, Kim McNalley. Previously, he had been married to the mother of his children, Susan Johnston.
He was a carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 166 in Milan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at the Friend Circle Club in Moline. His friends called him "iron jaw" for all his stories and jokes.
Jimmy is survived by his soulmate, Kim; his father, Tom (Mary Hynes) Inman of Homosassa Springs, Florida; his mother, Dorothy Chewning of New Boston, Illinois; three children, Sydney Inman of Gainesville, Florida, Jack Inman of Moline, and Athena Bell of Lannon, Wisconsin; siblings, Kathy (Clint) Miller, Tommy (Terry) Haulk, and Scott Inman, all of New Boston, and Kristy (Craig) Willett of Alpha, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
