Jim Beauchamp, 54, of East Moline, died suddenly Friday, March 7, 2003, in his home of natural causes.
Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial gathering from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, followed by a sharing of memories at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for his grandchildren.
James Joseph Beauchamp was born April 17, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Joseph J. and Bernice (Knapp) Beauchamp. He married Debbie Diederich on October 15, 1971. Jim owned and operated Nationwide Auto Sales in East Moline for almost 20 years. He lived for his family, and enjoyed cars, coins, and landscaping.
Jim is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Todd Verbeckmoes of East Moline and Kari and Scott Searl of Hillsdale; two grandchildren, Alec Verbeckmoes and Preston Searl; two sisters and brothers-in-law, B. J. and Robert Flaherty of Taylor Ridge and Pam and Rick Davies of Moline; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Alexis Davies; and a special friends, Terry and Jane Wright of Orion.
