Jacqueline Jean Pierce, 76, of Moline, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with The Rev. Stanley Evans officiating. Cremation will take place prior to services at Trimble Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
She was born on January 11, 1942, in Carrington, North Dakota, to Calvin and Edna (Gotzs) Ervin. Her family move to Utah when she was nine, where she took babysitting and business classes in high school.
Upon graduation she went to work for KLS Radio in Salt Lake City, Utah. She met and married Jan Meister and together had two children. After her divorce, she married Mick Pierce and they lived in Lubbock, Texas. She lived in Arizona before moving to be with her daughter in Wisconsin. She moved to Moline when her daughter's husband retired.
She was a member of Bethel Wesley UMC in Moline and loved going to church. She was an outstanding mom, grandma and good friend to many.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Jill (Timothy) Kerofsky, of Moline; son, John (Rose) Meister of Arizona; and grandsons, Tim Kerofsky of Moline, and Dillon Meister of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kent Ervin; husband, Mick; and her grandson, Kenneth Kerofsky.
