Jacqueline A. ?Ann? Meier, 65, of Moline, Illinois, died Friday, February 1, 2013, in her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to the Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline.
The former Jacqueline Ann Williams was born August 13, 1947, in Queens, New York. She was adopted by Raymond and Aletha Carter Williams at an early age. She graduated from Centerville High School, Centerville, Iowa, in 1965. She married Marion "Tom" Hayes, and later married Jeffrey Dean Meier on December 14, 1986, in Centerville. She lived and worked in Muscatine, Iowa, for many years, and had a lengthy career in sales and operations management in the recycling and waste management industry before retiring a few years ago. She loved music, having played keyboards and sung in bands for many years, and enjoyed cooking.
Ann is survived by her husband, Jeff; a daughter and son-in-law, Deidre ?Dee? and Donald Thomas, and a granddaughter, Savannah Thomas, all of Dallas, Texas; and step-children, Angi Meier of Mahomet, Illinois, and Christopher Meier, of Mattoon, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Tom Williams.
