Jack Reed, 60, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, November 24, 2007, in his home.
Family services and burial will be held in Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is assisting the family.
Jack Ray Reed was born April 2, 1947, in Fresno, California, the son of Jack Ray and Pearl Jean (Horne) Reed. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seal during the Viet Nam War, and later owned a welding business in Oklahoma. He married Ancilla Parduccci on June 23, 2007, in Rock Island, Illinois. He raised and trained German shepherds.
Jack is survived by his wife, Ancilla Parducci-Reed; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jack (Jay) and Patricia Reed of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jimmy Reed of Norman, Oklahoma, and Don and Sherry Copeland of Alabama; grandchildren, Kristen Anderson, and Amy and Dakota Davis; great-grandchildren, Zicorrie and Kayana Davis, and siblings, Darlene Lane, Katie Tipton, Johnny, JC, Jerry, and Jimmy Reed, and Joyce Harner.
