Jack E. Kincaid

Jack E. Kincaid, 85, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Active Day of Moline. Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory, Moline, is entrusted with arrangements.
Jack Edward Kincaid was born November 27, 1932, in Carbon Cliff, Illinois, the son of Homer Franklin and Thelma (Frary) Kincaid. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years before marrying Sandra Wadsager on July 11, 1959, in Silvis, Illinois.

He was a national customer service executive for IBM, retiring in 1991 after 33 years with the company. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf, hiking, bicycling, and boat racing. Above all else he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was an especially proud grandpa.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Sandy; a son, John E. (Mary Gieselman) Kincaid of Muscatine; a daughter, Susan J. (Mark) Dyer of Elmhurst, Illinois; grandchildren, Alex Kincaid, Sarah Dyer, Eric Dyer, and Amy Ball; siblings, Judy (Bill) Carmichael of Rock Island, Illinois, and Jim (Diane) Kincaid of Geneseo, Illinois; a nephew, Brian Kincaid; and many in-laws and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, William G. and Pat Kincaid, and their son, Craig.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staffs at Hope Creek Care Center and Active Day of Moline, for the wonderful care given to Jack.
