Michael J. Wymore, 27, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, in his residence.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline, with The Reverend Dr. Donald Jackson officiating. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
Michael Jason Wymore was born March 18, 1983, in Moline, the son of Burton Michael and Theresa Lynn Carroll Wymore. He was a nuclear biological chemical specialist in the U. S. Army, and was in the initial invasion of Iraq in the Second Gulf War. He currently was a full-time student at Black Hawk College.
He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, fishing and boating, traveling to the family cabin in Wisconsin, and spending time with his family and his dog, Captain.
Mike is survived by his mother, Terry Wymore of Moline; his father and step-mother, Burt and Mary Wymore of Moline; brothers, Paul Wymore of Coal Valley, A. J. Wymore serving with the U. S. Navy in Okinawa, and Zach Wymore, serving with the U. S. Air Force in Iraq; a niece, Haley Wymore; a nephew, Hunter Wymore; his grandmother, Marion Wymore of Moline; and aunts and uncles, Mary and Al Blank of Port Byron, Paul Senechal of Colona, Edie and Dave Finch of Phoenix, Arizona, Ron and Judy Carroll of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Rick and Dorothy Carroll of Traverse City, Michigan.
