Beverly J. Leslie, 70, of East Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, June 2, 2007.
Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Friends wishing to attend should meet at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, by 10:15 AM Tuesday.
The former Beverly Jeanne Wilson was born August 14, 1936, in Boonville, Indiana, the daughter of Olie and Ota (Stambush) Wilson. She married Gordon A. ?Buck? Leslie on September 10, 1955, in Boonville. He died September 15, 1997.
She was a billing clerk for H & W Motor Express, Davenport, Iowa, for 20 years, retiring in 1994. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
Beverly is survived by three children, Lisa Leemans and her partner Dale Lindle of East Moline; Dana Hess and her husband David of Moline, and Matthew Leslie of Moline; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jason and Yvonne Leemans, Rachel and Jason Reid, Sarah Leemans, David Hohl, and Michael Hess; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson, Nicholas Hess.
