Michael Joseph Keenan, 58, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, passed away at home on Monday, May 19, 2008.
Memorial visitation will be from 12:30 ? 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008, with a Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1318 W. Antoinette, Peoria, Illinois with Father Stanley L. Deputla officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in West Peoria, Illinois. He was born September 24, 1949, in Peoria, Illinois to Gerald and Dorothy (Gillette) Keenan. He married Kathy Korty on July 24, 1971, in Peoria, Illinois. In 1997, Michael moved to Bradenton, Florida, where he was director of engineering for Advance Controls, Inc.
Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Alicia Keenan of Sanford, Florida; one son, Damin Keenan of Wheaton, Illinois; two sisters, Laura (Larry) Stetler of Mapleton, Illinois, and Ellen (John) Keenan-Porter of Peoria, Illinois; and one brother Tom (Laura Ann) Keenan of Elgin, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.
