Ivan Quint

Ivan J. Quint, 58, of Clinton, Iowa, died Monday, October 3, 2016, in his residence.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Ivan Jerry Quint was born September 8, 1958, in Fort Carson, Colorado, to Ivan Jerry and Hazel (Moore) Quint. He served is the U.S. Navy for 11 years. He was a Denver Broncos fan, loved playing with his granddaughter, and enjoyed carpentry, Civil War reenactment, and building military models

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Emily Quint of Pryor, Oklahoma; his granddaughter, Gezebell Quint; brother, Phillip Quint of Fulton, Illinois; and sister and spouse, Elsie and Howard Reiling of East Moline; and four nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Debbie Smith.
