Moline, Illinois Services for Irma C. Klimstra, 88, of East Moline, formerly of Moline, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline. Entombment is in Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation is 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Memorials may be made to the church's building fund. Mrs. Klimstra died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, in Rosewood Care Center, Moline. The former Irma Clausen Geiger was born August 25, 1915, in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Clausen) Geiger. She married Rensie Klimstra on October 18, 1937, in Clinton, Iowa. He died June 12, 1999. She was Secretary-Treasurer of her husband's business, Quad City Specialty Company. She was a member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline, where she served on various church committees, and volunteered for over thirty years at the former Moline Public Hospital. She loved being with her granddaughters and their families, and enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and bowling. Irma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Joan Klimstra of Quincy, Illinois; two granddaughters and their husbands, Elizabeth and Stephen Keck of St. Louis, Missouri, and Amy and Joe Rudd of Winter Park, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Andrew Rudd; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Pearl Sissing of Clinton, Iowa, Lois Klimstra of Northbrook, Illinois, Miriam Klimstra of Cary, North Carolina, and Frank and Marguerite Van Osdol of Galena, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rensie; her parents; a sister-in-law, Tena Klimstra; and brothers-in-law, Louie, Paul, and Bill Klimstra, and Clarence Sissing.
