Ireta E. Watson, 80, formerly of Moline and Coal Valley, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Celebration of Life Chapel at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, with Rev. Donald Plemmons officiating. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. There is no visitation.
The former Ireta Elaine Tidrick was born August 16, 1932, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin Jr. and Doris Matthes Tidrick. She married Lewis Watson in 1951. She later married Clarence Watson in 1978. He died January 9, 1981. She was employed by Canteen Corporation at International Harvester for several years. She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship, Moline.
Ireta is survived by four children and their spouses, Debra and Albert Nevarez of Moline, Sandra and Larry Bull of Aledo, Illinois, Marcia Alexander of Moline, and Donald Anthony of California; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Lowell and Gail Peck of Moline, Don and Pat Peck of Milan, Illinois, and Charlotte Rogers of Moline; and her best friend, Catherine Canny of East Moline.
