Moline, Illinois Iola B. Ortman, 96, of Moline, died Monday, September 6, 2004, In Trinity Medical Center, Moline. Private graveside services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline. The former Iola Belle Anderson was born October 6, 1907, on her family's farm in Hopkins Township, Michigan, the daughter of Holger and Alice (Collings) Anderson. She received nurses training in Chicago, where she married Dr. Clarence H. Ortman on May 2, 1930. He died May 12, 1986. Iola was an active member of Riverside United Methodist Church for over 60 years, where she loved working on church programs and activities and was twice president of United Methodist Women. She was a member of Margaret Bottome Circle of King's Daughters. Iola is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Leo Lundberg of Coal Valley, and Sandra and Dale Riggins of Moline; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leo Anderson of Hopkins, Michigan.
