Ilo D. Ristau, 94, of Coal Valley, Illinois, died Friday, July 8, 2016, in Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, Illinois.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley, with The Reverend Tim Snart officiating. Burial is in Coal Valley Cemetery. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial in her honor.
The former Ilo Drucilla Jones was born April 14, 1922, in Moline, Illinois, to Roscoe and Muriel (Bartlett) Jones. She married Earl Ristau in Clinton, Iowa, and he preceded her in death. She owned the Coal Valley Maid-Rite, Lucky 8 Tavern, and Ilo's Tap, and retired from Fleetwood Liquors. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley, and enjoyed bingo and cards, especially euchre.
Ilo is survived by two children, Vicki Thomas and Ronald Ristau, both of Coal Valley, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Harker, two brothers, and three sisters.
