Helen ?Louise? Biller, 81, of Coal Valley, passed away peacefully, May 16, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Cambridge, Illinois, after a short battle with cancer.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley with a reception following in the church hall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the reception at 1:30 p.m. at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be given to either First Presbyterian Church or to Pathway Hospice.
The former Helen Louise White was born on July 7, 1923 the daughter of James Emanuel and Frances (Baker) White on the family farm in Keswick, Iowa. She married Harry P. Biller, June 27, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2000. Louise retired in 1981 from the Colona Elementary School where she was the Cafeteria Manager for 14 years. She had also been self-employed at the Shady Dell Truck Stop for 10 years. Louise loved her family, and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
Louise is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jenette and Bob Raymond, Napa, California, Toni and Jimmie Stock, Blue Grass, Iowa, JoAnn and Mark Stang, Cambridge, Illinois, seven grandchildren and their spouses, Johanna and Jeff Jay, Stephanie Raymond, Shelly Forber, Todd Forber, Chad Forber, Amie Wilson, David Wilson, three great-grandchildren, Brandon Forber, Chase Forber, Aubrey Noe, two sisters, Lorene Morrow, Columbus, Ohio, Margaret Wiggins, Winnebago, Minnesota, three brothers and their wives, John and Mildred White, What Cheer, Iowa, Edward White, Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, Edwin and Beverly White, Montezuma, Iowa, and her faithful cat, Paulie.
