Gwen D. Beason

Gwen D. Beason, 53, of Rock Island, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, with visitation from Noon until time of services. Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Gwen Denise Beason was born December 18, 1964, in Rock Island, the daughter of Robert Lee Sr. and Tinnie Mae (Hearn) Beason. She worked at Nancy's Pies, Mama Bosso Pizza, and most recently for Hill & Valley Premium Bakery in Rock Island. She truly enjoyed her work and co-workers.

She enjoyed puzzles, playing solitaire, and board games, especially monopoly. She loved children and helping others. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Gwen, especially her children and granddaughters.

Left to honor Gwen's memory are her beloved children, Dario Beason of Texas, and Tavian Beason of Rock Island, and Keontaye Beason, Dabria Beason, and Taniya Batie, whom she raised as though they were her own; granddaughters, Dari'a Beason and Alicia Rodriguez; siblings, Debra Beason of Dumfries, Virginia, Camessa Beason of East Moline, Tina Beason of Davenport, David (Kimberly) Hearn, Sr., Chuck Beason, and Robert L. (Yolanda) Beason, all of Rock Island, and Rodney (Trinda) Beason of Davenport; and a host of nieces, newphews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Linda, Darlene, Cynthia, and Michael Beason, Gloria Irving, and Cheryl Cowan.
