Grace Marie Mueller

Grace M. Mueller; age 77 of Moline, died Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday at Heritage Wesleyan Church, Rock Island, with the Rev. John A. Bray officiating. Visitation will be Monday Evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Burial will in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be given to the Church. The former Grace Marie Caroline Braaten was born on August 11, 1924 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of Oscar and Caroline (Sibbe) Braaten. She married Eugene Wilkinson; she then married Henry T. Mueller. Grace had served in the United States Navy, during World War II. She had been employed as a secretary at Deere & Company for over 20 years, retiring in 1984. Grace was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church in Rock Island. She enjoyed Knitting and Macramé, reading, spending time with her family, and being at church. Survivors include; three daughters and their husbands; Susan and Pat McKnight of Davenport, IA, Karen and Tony Gonzalez of Moline, IL, and Nancy and Lee Otis of Coal Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Darren McKnight of Lakeside, CA, Brian McKnight of San Diego, CA, Carlos Gonzalez of Moline, IL, Andy Otis and Angela Otis of Coal Valley, IL; a great-grandaughter, Sidney Mcknight of Lakeside, CA; two sisters, Sibyl and Joe Grubisch of Davenport, IA, Jackie and Carl Stone of Rock Island, IL; three brothers, Roger Braaten of St. Louis, MO, Earl and Lisa Braaten of Oklahoma, OK, and Tom and Terry Braaten of Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Willard Braaten; two husbands, Eugene Wilkinson and Henry T. Mueller.
