Gordon K. Dobbs

Gordon K. Dobbs, 59, of Davenport, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Private services will be held. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home.

Gordon Keith Dobbs was born September 3, 1962, the son of Donald and Sharon (Downing) Dobbs.

Skip was a high energy, high enthusiasm, strong-willed man, who excelled in the construction field and passed the passion and skills on to his, son, “Code” as he called him. He also taught his son how to play baseball. He was truly a good man that lived his life “his way”.

Skip is survived by several children, including his son Cody “Code” Dobbs of Davenport; a step-daughter, Natasha “Squash” Crossen of Davenport; his beloved grandchildren, Nevaeh, Bryson, and Rylan; and a brother, Donnie (Deanise) Dobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Goodwin.
