Glenn E. Wruck

Glenn E. Wruck, 91, of Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in UnityPoint Health – Trinity Bettendorf.

Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Moline.

Glenn Erwin Wruck was born January 16, 1930, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Edward and Eloise (Holoff) Wruck. He served in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955, and married Virginia Alexander on August 26, 1961, in Earlville, Illinois. He was employed by the federal government in the communications department at the Rock Island Arsenal. He loved his family and being with his grandchildren, visited Donut Delite every morning, was an avid walker, and enjoyed yardwork. He was a highly capable handyman who could fix anything.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia; two children and spouses, David and Christine Wruck of Clarksville, Maryland, and Susan and Landon Powell of Moline; and five grandchildren, Timothy Wruck and his wife Laura, Kelly Wruck, and Rachel, Jacob and Joshua Powell. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Powell, one brother and two sisters.
