Geraldine M. Foster

East Moline, Illinois Geraldine M. Foster, 81, of East Moline, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, East Moline. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Geraldine Foster Memorial Fund. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements. Geraldine was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Lavilia, Iowa, to Floyd and Marie Morrison. She was a graduate of Marycrest College. She married Earl W. Broderick in 1949, in Moline. He preceded her in death in 1970. She married Clifford Foster in 1978, in Moline. He preceded her in death in 1990. Geraldine was a private secretary for Eagle Foods, Milan, for 12 years, retiring in 1982. She also had worked for the Cedar Rapids Police Department. Geraldine enjoyed playing bingo and fishing. She was of the Catholic faith. Geraldine is survived by her twin sons, Mark W. Broderick, Detroit, Mich., and Mike W. Broderick, Portland, Maine; and six grandchildren.
