Genevieve V. Hageman

Genevieve V. Hageman, 90, formerly of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014, in Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Visitation is one hour before the services. Memorials may be made to the family.

The former Genevieve Verlea Sedam was born March 1, 1924, in New Boston, Illinois, to John and Minnie Dusenberry Sedam. She married Carl C. Hageman on June 29, 1940, in Muscatine, Iowa. He died October 18, 1961. She enjoyed playing bunko, being with her family, and smiling a lot.

Genevieve is survived by three daughters, Sharon Pope and Judy Hull, both of Moline, and Karen Griffin of Eldridge, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Dean of Colona, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; two sons, Larry and Ronald Hageman; three sisters, and six brothers.
